Basic Meaning: thusness as unconditioned
Senses:
One of the six unconditioned factors 六無爲 in Yogâcāra thusness 眞如 is the real nature of all existences, yet it is called unconditioned due to the notion that even the awakened wisdom of the Buddha is in itself not really true, since the wisdom of enlightenment is classified as a conditioned existence (Skt. tathatâsaṃskṛta; Tib. de bzhin nyid 'dus ma byas).
