Senses:

  • Eliminating afflictions by the practice of analytical meditation. One of two methods of cessation 二滅; one of the six unconditioned dharmas 六無爲 (Skt. pratisaṃkhyā-nirodha, pratisaṃkhyā, prajñā-viśesa, savisaṃyoga, visaṃyoga-dravya, visaṃyoga, prahāṇa; Pāli paṭisaṃkhā-nirodha; Tib. so sor brtags pas 'gog pa, so sor brtags 'gog).
