Basic Meaning: based on being brought into conscious awareness

Senses:

  • Dependent on the transformation of consciousness. Phenomena which appear in the mind as semblances of the real thing; nominal, conditioned phenomena. This is distinguished from being based on actuality 依法性. Cf. 六無爲. 〔觀心覺夢鈔 T 2312.71.68c26〕 [Charles Muller]
