Michaela Mross


Michaela Mross is a PhD candidate in Japanese Studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich currently finishing a PhD thesis on kōshiki 講式 (Buddhist ceremonials) in the Sōtō school. She is also a PhD student in Buddhist Studies at Komazawa University and a research fellow of the Sōtō school. Her research interests are Zen/Chan history, Buddhist rituals, kōshiki, shōmyō 聲明, and shingi 淸規. She has provided entries on these topic to the DDB. [2012-6-1]
