Tom Mazanec
Tom Mazanec is a Ph.D. candidate in Chinese literature at Princeton University, pursuing joint degrees in the East Asian Studies Department and the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program in the Humanities. He received his B.A. in English and Chinese in 2007 (Calvin College) and his M.A. in Comparative Literature in 2011 (University of Colorado, Boulder). His research is focused on medieval Chinese poetry and poetics, especially Chinese Buddhist poetry of the ninth and tenth centuries CE. He has contributed DDB entries related to poet-monks.
