Rob Linrothe

Rob Linrothe is associate professor of Art History at Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, NY. His research interests are Esoteric Buddhism in India, Tibet, and China. He is the author of Ruthless Compassion: Wrathful Deities in Early Indo-Tibetan Esoteric Buddhist Art (London: Serindia, 1999); Paradise and Plumage: Chinese Connections in Tibetan Arhat Painting (New York/Chicago: Rubin Museum of Art/Serindia, 2004) and is the organizer and editor of Holy Madness: Portraits of Tantric Siddhas (New York/Chicago: Rubin Museum of Art and Serindia, 2006).
